This statement was true then and continues to be true today. We all are exposed to a number of different chemicals, carcinogens, and toxins in our environment on a daily basis, but while we may have no control over some exposures, there are many that we do.
A partnership project between Pennsylvania Resources Council and The University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute’s Center for Environmental Oncology the workshop focuses on the consequences of these toxins on our health and how we can avoid exposure.
Participants will learn:
-How to make your own cleaning products and personal care products
-Toxins to avoid in personal care products
-How and what to cook with to keep you healthy
All participants will recieve a green cleaning starter kit!
Cost to attend the workshop is $20 per person. (All participants receive a green cleaning starter kit and personal care product samples)
